A legacy gift is a powerful act of faith, planting seeds that will bear fruit now and into the future.
Become a member of the 1880 Society.
In 1880, a small group of faithful Episcopalians gathered in Conway to plant what would become St. Peter's. For more than 140 years, every generation has been entrusted with this ministry, and every generation has passed it on stronger than they received it.
The 1880 Society honors those who continue that tradition by remembering St. Peter's in their will, trust, or estate plans, or by giving to the endowment during their lifetime. A legacy gift is a powerful act of faith, planting seeds that will bear fruit now and into the future.
Each fund is held in perpetuity and carefully stewarded. A modest portion is drawn each year to support ministry, while the remainder is invested to grow, so that a single gift supports the parish year after year, generation after generation.

The St. Peter's Endowment Fund
A gift to the heart of our parish.
A legacy gift to the St. Peter's Endowment Fund supports the breadth of our mission and ministry, ensuring that worship, formation, pastoral care, hospitality, and the day-to-day life of this community remain strong. Of all the ways to leave a legacy at St. Peter's, this is the gift that touches everything we do.
The Matthews Outreach Fund
Serving our neighbors, in perpetuity.
Established in 2026 in thanksgiving for the life and ministry of Roseann Allen-Matthews, this fund sustains St. Peter's outreach ministries: the food pantry, community partnerships, and our wider service in Conway and beyond. A legacy gift here extends your love of neighbor into the future, bearing witness to Christ's call to serve.
The Dougan Memorial Trust Fund
Beauty and reverence in worship.
Established in 1985 in thanksgiving and memory of Austin B. Dougan, this fund supports the elements and adornments of our worship. A legacy gift here helps ensure that the worship of St. Peter's continues to be offered with beauty, reverence, and care.
