Every gift strengthens our shared life in Christ and helps our community grow together in love, peace, and generosity within and beyond our walls.

We, who are many, are one body in Christ, and individually we are members one of another.
— Romans 12:5–5

Income

Over ninety percent of our operating income comes directly from parishioner pledges and offerings—the primary source that sustains every ministry year to year.
  • Understanding your Pledge

A pledge is a financial commitment made in faith to support the church's ministry in the coming year. Pledging is foundational to our shared life at St. Peter's, providing the steady base from which worship, outreach, pastoral care, and formation can grow. A strong pledge base lets us plan responsibly and boldly: supporting our staff, caring for our buildings, and investing in ministries that help our community thrive.

  • The Spiritual Practice of the Tithe

In scripture, tithe means "tenth,” and returning ten percent of what we've been given has long been a standard of Christian generosity. Few can begin there, and that's okay. We are invited to work toward the tithe, growing step by step as our faith deepens and our circumstances allow. What matters most is that our giving reflects gratitude, intention, and trust.

  • Giving Beyond the Pledge

Many also make additional gifts throughout the year. These support specific ministries like the Food Pantry, Guatemala Medical Mission, Music Ministry, and other projects that extend our compassion beyond our walls. Gifts to the Endowment Fund strengthen our financial future, and gifts to the priest's discretionary fund help meet immediate needs.

  • Every Gift Matters

Whether a pledge made faithfully each year or a one-time offering to a ministry that stirs your heart, every gift shares the same generous spirit that binds us together in Christ. Through your giving, St. Peter's continues to be a place of welcome, worship, and service for the good of all.
